The Court: This is a third application for extension of the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator.

It is fairly submitted on behalf of both the parties that primarily on the ground of illness, the Sole Arbitrator could not proceed expeditiously with the arbitral proceeding.

Both parties consent to the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator being extended.

I have considered the averments made in the application and I am satisfied that there are justifiable grounds as to why the Arbitrator was unable to conclude the arbitral proceeding expeditiously.

In such view of the matter, the time to conclude the arbitral proceeding is peremptorily extended by a period of six months from date. With the aforesaid directions, AP-COM/539/2024 stands disposed of. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.) S.Bag
