For KMC The Court :- Petitioners are one of ten applicants for mutation in respect of an unit in the apartment building, standing recorded in name of erstwhile owner. Mr. Chakraborty appears on their behalf and submits, title documents had been produced before the Corporation but it did not act. His clients enquired and found that the Corporation had written memo dated 27th August, 2018 to Controller of Kolkata Thika Tenancy, as the premises is listed in Khatal List in the Corporation's computer data base. His client was wrongly advised to implead the Controller. He is pressing for orders against the Corporation, for it to act on the application. The Corporation is directed to deal with the application of petitioners within three weeks from date of communication of this order. Court is on notice of the Corporation seeking to obtain clarification based on their computer data base. In event the Corporation is able to discover anything further or is inclined to press with the office of Controller, who has not responded to their memo, it must do so within the time

directed, to either cause mutation or inform petitioners as to why it will have be done. It goes without saying that petitioners will have not to comply with all requisites. The writ petition is disposed of. This Court in dealing with the writ petition has not gone into the merits of it. (ARINDAM SINHA, J.) sb.
