The Court:- The petitioner claims to be the part owner of the ground floor and first floor of the premises No. 79 Vivekananda Road, Kolkata 700 006. It is the contention of the petitioner that a portion of the said premises of which the petitioner is the owner was let out and subsequently, the tenant surrendered the tenancy. It is stated that the petitioner submitted an application in the prescribed form for appropriate steps to be taken by the Corporation in view of the change of situation but the said application has not been disposed of. It is further

submitted that a portion of the premises of which the petitioner is the owner has been sold out to a third party and the petitioner accordingly applied for apportionment of the property tax. The said application has not been allegedly disposed of as yet.

Mr. Alak Kumar Ghosh, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Corporation submits that all the applications of the petitioner have been dealt with and considered by the Corporation. It is further submitted that the name of the petitioner does not appear in the Corporation's record and as such no intimation was given to the petitioner.

As the petitioner has made a representation dated November 6, 2020 before the Corporation enquiring about the fate of the applications referred to hereinabove, the said representation shall be considered and disposed of and the decision of the Corporation taken on the applications filed by the petitioner shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order. WPO No. 368 of 2021 is disposed of.
