...For the Respondents The Court: Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. By this writ petition petitioner has challenged the impugned order of transfer of its income tax file, dated 17th February, 2023, under Section 127 of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition being WPO 689 of 2023 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation against the aforesaid impugned order of transfer within two weeks from date before the appropriate Authority concerned. If such representation is made by the petitioner within the time stipulated herein, the respondent Authority concerned shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or its authorised representative, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
