The Court: The Letters of Administration was granted by passing an order dated 21st August, 2025 in PLA 172 of 2025. The matter has appeared on being mentioned for correction of an erroneous recording in the said order.

In the second paragraph of the said order dated 21st August, 2025, it is recorded that "the mother and wife of the deceased predeceased him". This was recorded on the basis of the statements made in the application which only says that the mother and wife of the deceased had expired. It is now clarified that the mother predeceased the above named deceased while the wife died after the death of her husband in 2010. The recording in the order dated 21st August, 2025 is corrected as "the mother of the deceased predeceased him while the wife died after the death of her husband the above named deceased but prior to making of this application" by deleting the sentence "the mother and wife of the deceased predeceased him".

The order dated 21st August, 2025 shall be treated with the correction as aforesaid.
