...for the State The Court: In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus to consider his prayer made on 27th August, 2019 with regard to on-route vehicle in permit in question. He further prayed for a direction upon the authorities for counter signature of the letter after acceptance of current tax declaring the off-route of vehicle as per West Bengal Motor Vehicle Tax Act, 1979.

His grievance has been ventilated in the letter of the petitioner dated 5th February, 2020 in details which is at page19 and page 20 of the

writ application which has been received by the State Transport Authority on the same date.

After hearing the submission of the petitioner and also the learned advocate for the State Mr. Amal Sen, I direct the Secretary of State Transport Authority, West Bengal to consider this letter dated 5th February, 2020 written by the learned advocate for the petitioner. Such consideration is to be made by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Let this consideration be made within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and the decision of the authority after considering the said letter dated 5th February, 2020 is to be communicated to the petitioner by two weeks after considering the same.
