...for petitioner The Court :- Learned Counsel for the petitioner prays for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator which expired sometime in December, 2024.

It is submitted by the petitioner that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on December 4, 2024. Thereafter counter-claim was amended and the said amendment was allowed by an order dated April 10, 2024. Thereafter the parties by mutual consent extended the mandate. The said extension expired sometime in May, 2025. Thus prayer has been made.

Learned Advocate for the respondent does not raise any objection to such prayer. It is submitted that both parties desire that

the arbitral proceedings should be concluded expeditiously and the final arguments are going on.

Considering the advanced stage of the proceedings and for the ends of justice, this Court deems it fit to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a further period of 8(eight) months from the date of communication of this order, to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award.

AP-COM/389/2025 is disposed of accordingly.
