1. This is an application for extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator was appointed by this Court. An application under Section 9 was also filed before this Court. It is submitted that this Court has jurisdiction to entertain this application for extension of mandate. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on March 10, 2025. It is submitted by the parties that the proceedings are at an advanced stage. Witness action is going on.

2. Considering the submissions, this Court is of the view that ends of justice demand that, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator must be extended. Hence, the mandate is extended by a further period of eight months from the date of communication of this order, within which time the learned Arbitrator shall make and publish the award.
