Liberty is granted to the Union of India to file a supplementary affidavit, if required. Such supplementary affidavit shall be filed within two weeks from date and served upon the learned Advocate-on-record for the

petitioner. A composite reply shall be filed to the affidavit to be used by the respondent within two weeks thereafter.

Interim order, already passed, is re-imposed. As it appears that the respondent resides outside the ordinary original jurisdiction of this Court, liberty is granted to the petitioner to convert the matter to a writ petition to be filed and registered in the Appellate Side. Let the matter appear in the appellate side supplementary list on 26th September, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Registry is directed to take necessary steps for conversion, registration and listing.
