For UOI The Court : This is an application under Section 226 of the Constitution of India where the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents authorities in considering his representation dated 28th September, 2020 in relation to provisional release of the vehicle. I have heard Mr. Kaushik Dey, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.

Upon considering the submission made, I direct the authorities concerned to consider the application for provisional release of the vehicle within a period of two weeks in accordance with law.

The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the department in relation to the summons which have been issued.

The writ petition being WP No.403 of 2020 stands disposed of. Since the writ petition is disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.
