1. Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondent. On the last occasion, the Court directed substituted service. Substituted service has been effected. The insertion in two widely circulated dailies one in English and one in Gujarati has been made.

2. This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. The petitioner is the claimant. It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on 19th May, 2025. It is submitted that the respondent has not been appearing before the learned Arbitrator. The proceeding of the 9th sitting of the learned

Arbitrator records that the respondent was absent. Subsequent proceedings also indicate that none appeared on behalf of the respondent before the learned Arbitrator. It is submitted that the proceedings are at the stage of arguments.

3. Under such circumstances, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended for a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order, to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award within the extended period.
