The Court: This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

It is submitted on behalf of the both parties that for reasons beyond the control of the Arbitrator, the arbitral proceeding could not be concluded. I have considered the averments made in the application and I am satisfied that there is sufficient cause and cogent grounds as to why the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal should be extended. In such circumstances, the time to conclude the arbitral proceeding and publish the award stands extended by a period of six months from date. AP-COM/581/2024 stands disposed of.
