..for State respondents The Court : This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the Government Authorities in processing arrear claim of Government Dearness Allowance along with arrear salary including interest accrued thereon for the period of June, 2016 to December, 2017.

The case of the petitioner is that the School Authorities have forwarded the petitioner's claim to the District Inspector, Schools (S.E.), Kolkata.

Ms. Chaitali Bhattacharya, counsel appearing for the State submits that the District Inspector, Schools (S.E.), Kolkata has forwarded the same to the Deputy Director of Accounts and the claim of the petitioner is pending before the Deputy Director of Accounts.

I have heard all the parties and perused the materials on record. I accordingly direct the Commissioner of Schools Education to look into the pending arrear claim of the petitioner and thereafter pass a reasoned order upon the same within four weeks from date.

Since no affidavits have been filed in this matter, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. The writ petition being WPO No. 412 of 2020 stands disposed of. (SHEKHAR B.SARAF, J.) D.Ghosh
