The Court:- This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned arbitrator. The mandate of the learned arbitrator expired on 15th May 2025.

Both the parties submit before the Court that ends of justice demands that the mandate of the learned arbitrator is required to be extended.It is submitted that, in the course of arguments certain documents were required to be placed, for proper adjudication of the issues. Accordingly, the learned arbitrator passed directions for production of such documents. No objection with regard to maintainability of this application has been raised.

In my opinion, the matter has reached an advanced stage and as such,the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended by a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order. (SHAMPA SARKAR, J.) S. Kumar / R.D. Barua
