The Court: This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.

It is submitted on behalf of both the parties that for unavoidable reasons the arbitral tribunal could not conclude the arbitral proceedings within the stipulated time period.

I have considered the averments made in the application and I am satisfied that there are sufficient grounds and good cause as to why the Arbitrator has been unable to conclude the reference within the stipulated time period. In such circumstances, by consent of the parties, the time to conclude the arbitral reference by the Learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months from the date of passing of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, AP-COM/584/2024 stands disposed of. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.) s.pal
