...for the respondent The Court: This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned arbitrator, which will expire on 23rd May, 2025. It is submitted by both the parties that the mandate is required to be extended as proceedings are now at an advanced stage. Witness action is continuing. The respondent does not raise any objection with regard to the prayer for extension. There is no challenge to the maintainability of the application before this Court. Under such circumstances and considering the progress made in the arbitral proceedings, the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended by a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order, to enable the learned arbitrator to make and publish his award.

All allegations against the respondent are deemed to be denied as no affidavit has been called for.
