...for the respondent The Court: Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the order dated June 27, 2024, the petitioners were granted liberty to withdraw the amount of Rs.2.15 crores deposited with the Registrar, Original Side upon deduction of any necessary charges.

It is pointed out that the petitioners are also entitled to interest, if any, accrued on the said amount.

It is further contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that since the demand draft was deposited at the inception on behalf of FA&CAO/Con/E.R, the cheque should be also issued in favour of the said entity and not in favour of the Union of India. Accordingly, the Registrar, Original Side is directed to draw a cheque in the name of FA&CAO/Con/E.R instead of the Union of India to the tune

of Rs.2.15 crores along with interest, if any, upon deduction of the statutory dues. Such cheque shall be paid to the petitioners within August 16, 2024 upon the Registrar, Original Side being so approached by the learned advocate for the petitioners and/or any authorised representative of the petitioners for such purpose.
