The petitioners have filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration of the estate and properties of the deceased Ashit Charan Law, who died on 26th April, 2021 leaving behind the petitioners as his legal heirs.

The petitioner no.1 is the wife of the deceased and the petitioner no.2 is the daughter of the deceased.

Considered the submission made by the counsel for the petitioners and perused the death certificate of the testator and the affidavit of assets. This Court finds that the petitioners are entitled to get the Letters of Administration to the estate and properties of the deceased. The department is directed to issue Letters of Administration to the petitioners on furnishing bond of Rs.5 lakhs with two sureties. PLA/175/2024 is disposed of.
