...for the Respondent The Court: The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging an order dated February 27, 2024 passed by the District Magistrate, 24 Parganas, South under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (hereinafter the act).

Mr. Nayak, learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank submits that there is an alternative and efficacious remedy available to the

petitioners. He further submits that the respondent being a private entity is not amenable to the writ jurisdiction to this Hon'ble Court. The petitioner's remedy indisputably lies before the Debts Recovery Tribunal to challenge an order by the District Magistrate passed under Section 14 of the act. Not having availed of such remedy, the writ petition cannot be entertained.

The petition is thus, dismissed.
