The Court: This is an application filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that for unavoidable reasons, the Arbitral Tribunal was unable to conclude the proceedings.

Affidavit of Service filed on behalf of the petitioner be kept with the records.

Despite service, the respondent remains unrepresented. I have considered the averments in this application and I am satisfied that there are sufficient cause and good reason as to why the Arbitral Tribunal could not conclude the proceedings.

In such circumstances, there shall be an order in terms of prayer (a) of the Notice of Motion. The time to make and publish the award is extended by six months from the date of this order.
