Counsel for the plaintiff has handed over a communication dated 7th August, 2023 made by the plaintiff to the learned advocate on record of the plaintiff wherein it is mentioned that the plaintiff is not interested to proceed with the matter and requested the learned advocate on record to withdraw the suit. In view of the communication dated 7th August, 2023, learned counsel for the plaintiff prays for withdrawal of the suit. Counsel for the defendant raised no objection but submitted that interim order, if any, passed by this Court shall be vacated and connected applications should also be dismissed.

In view of the submission made by the counsel for the respective parties and after considering the communication dated 7th August, 2023, CS/116/1998 is dismissed as withdrawn. Interim order, if any, shall stand vacated. Consequently, all the general applications, if any, pending shall be treated as dismissed.
