1. GA No.2 of 2026 has been filed by the petitioners seeking leave to withdraw the writ petition. It has been submitted that by virtue of the communication by the Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways dated 29th September, 2025 annexed at page 12 of GA 2 of 2026 and the further communication dated 10th March, 2026 by the Executive Director of the Indian Ports Association annexed at pages 13 and 14 of GA 2 of 2026, the grievance raised by the petitioners in the writ petition has been redressed for the time being. The petitioners do not intend to proceed with the writ petition any further.

2. In view of such submission, there is no requirement of proceeding with the writ petition any further.

3. The writ petition being WPO No.469 of 2024 and the connected applications being GA/1/2024 and GA/2/2026 stand disposed of.

4. It goes without saying that in the event fresh cause of action arises, it will be open for the petitioners to approach the competent forum in accordance with law, if so advised.

5. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

6. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties or their advocates on record expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
