The Court: Order dated April 6, 2022 is recalled. It appears from the office memo dated 19th April, 2022 that the Arbitrator who has been appointed by an order dated 18th January, 2022 by the Hon'ble Chief Justice has intimated the department that since he has joined the post of President District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Nadia he is not permitted to do any arbitration work. In light of the same, the mandate given to Mr. Daman Prasad Biswas is annulled.

In view of the above, Mr. Chayan Gupta, Advocate, is appointed as an arbitrator. The appointment is subject to submission of declaration by the Arbitrator in terms of Section 12(1) in the form prescribed in the Sixth Schedule of the Act before the Registrar, Original Side of this Court within four weeks from today.

Let this order be conveyed to the Arbitrator by the Registrar, Original Side forthwith.
