...for KMC The Court : The petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of the Executive Engineer (Civil)/ Building, Borough-V, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, in not providing the information as sought for under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

The petitioner submits that the application seeking information was posted on 16th March, 2023. The track report annexed to the writ petition shows that the postal article was delivered to the Bowbazar sub-office, Kolkata, on 17th March, 2023.

In the event the information as sought for is not supplied to the applicant, then there is a procedure prescribed under the Right to Information Act, 2005. It

will be open for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the proper forum.

The prayer of the petitioner made in the instant writ petition is liable to be rejected.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
