Subhrangsu Panda, learned advocate who usually represents the Director of Madrasah education, the respondent no.4 herein, is appointed to represent the said respondent. The respondent no.4 is directed to regularise the appointment of Mr. Panda. In compliance with the order dated March 21, 2017 passed in WP No.2287(w) of 2016 the respondent no.4 vide Memo No.1383ME/DME/L-1605/16 dated July 7, 2017 decided the issue regarding approval of service of the petitioner in the post of work education and physical education group at Bishalaxmipur Puna Saha Mostania High Madrasah, District - South 24 Parganas. The petitioner sought re-consideration and/or review of the said order.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent no.4 has not yet taken any decision on her said application for review and/or recall although the hearing on the said application was concluded long back.

The petitioner is seeking a direction upon the respondent no.4 for disposal of her said application.

It appears from the record that the hearing of the said application of the petitioner for recall and/or review was held on August 28, 2019. Therefore, the petitioner can legitimately expect a decision on the said application within a reasonable time.

Hence, the respondent no.4 is directed to decide the said application of the petitioner and to communicate his decision to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

WPO No.454 of 2020 is disposed of with the above directions. No order as to costs.
