The Court: The writ petition has been filed by a learned advocate of the Serampur Court with the allegation that when the petitioner sought a video conferencing link for appearance before the said Court, the same was not provided, despite due infrastructure being available in the said Court. Since certain concerns have been raised by the petitioner even as to the availability or proper facilities in the said Court for video conferencing and as to certain perceived irregularities in providing the links to litigants and advocates, it would only be appropriate if the matter is taken up by this Court in its administrative side and be channelized through the Hon'ble Zonal Judge having the charge of Hooghly District.

Accordingly, WPO 490 of 2024 is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation before the Registrar General of this Court with the issues as raised in the present writ petition. If such representation is given to the Registrar General, the Registrar General shall forward the same with approval of the Hon'ble the Chief Justice to the Hon'ble Zonal Judge in charge of the District Hooghly for looking into the matter in the administrative side of this Court and to take a decision in accordance with the discretion of the said Hon'ble Judge.

No order as to costs.
