...for KMC The Court: Learned counsel for the petitioner states that his grievances have been duly redressed, as the Mayor in exercise of his powers under Section 37 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 has ratified and affirmed the unpaid Solid Waste Management (SWM) demands up to the Financial Year 2022-23, as recorded in the Minutes dated 8th January, 2025.

In view of the said statement made by the counsel for the Corporation, the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition. Accordingly, WPO/493/2024 is disposed of in terms of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent wherein the grievances have been adequately addressed and the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition.

Furthermore, the Minutes dated 8th January, 2025 is kept on record. A copy of the same has been duly handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.
