The matter had appeared at the instance of the Department. It appears from the Report filed by the Department that notwithstanding a lapse of nearly a decade the plaintiff has taken no steps to rectify the defects enumerated in the communication dated 21st June, 2014. It also appears from the Report dated 29th April, 2014 that notwithstanding an opportunity afforded to the Advocate-onRecord on behalf of the plaintiff the stamp duty payable by the plaintiff remains insufficient.

In view of the fact that the plaintiff has failed to take any steps in this suit, CS/178/2012 stands dismissed.
