Learned counsel for both sides agree that in view of the volume of the documents and evidence required to be considered by the sole Arbitrator, the mandate of the Arbitrator ought to be extended for a period of six months. Upon considering the pleadings in the application and the materials annexed, I am convinced of the veracity of such submission. Accordingly AP-COM/614/2024 is allowed, thereby extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator taking up the arbitral proceeding between the parties for a further period of six months from date.
