The Court: The petitioner prays for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on 11th August, 2024. The respondent does not have any objection to such prayer for extension of mandate. It is submitted that witness action is going on. Under the aforementioned circumstances and also because the learned Arbitrator was unwell, justice demands that the mandate is extended for a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order. The submission of the parties with regard to availability of virtual participation and prompt delivery of the minutes and depositions, are matters which have to be raised before the learned Arbitrator.

The parties are at liberty to make such prayer. This court hopes and trusts that the learned Arbitrator shall resolve the issues. AP-COM 450 of 2025 is, accordingly, disposed of. (SHAMPA SARKAR, J.) Sp/
