...for the respondent The Court: This is an application under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Upon hearing counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, I am of the view that this matter should be resolved by a sole independent Arbitrator to be appointed by the Court. Parties have agreed to the same. Accordingly, Mr. Anirban Ray, Advocate, Bar Library Club, is appointed as Arbitrator to resolve the disputes between the parties. The appointment is subject to submission of declaration by the Arbitrator in terms of Section 12(1) in the form prescribed in the Sixth Schedule of the Act before the Registrar, Original Side of this Court within four weeks from today.

Let this order be conveyed to the Arbitrator by the Registrar, Original Side forthwith.

The learned Arbitrator is requested to hear out the Section 17 application, if filed by any of the parties within a period of two months from the date of filing of the same.

AP/146/2022 is, accordingly, disposed of.
