The Court : Learned Advocate appearing for the appellants submits that the issues raised in the appeal are covered by the decision of the co-ordinate Bench dated May 14, 2024 passed in APOT No.243 of 2022 and OCOT No.1 of 2023.
Learned Advocate appearing for the writ petitioner submits that so far as the direction for payment is concerned, such direction should be in respect of the actual date of payment in respect of individual writ petitioners.
In such circumstances, APOT/104/2023 and the connected application are disposed of in terms of the decision of the coordinate Bench dated May 14, 2024 passed in APOT No.243 of 2022 and OCOT No.1 of 2023.
Needless to say that, the Corporation will pay interest on the differential amount from February, 2020 till the date of actual payment at the rate of six percent per annum within a period of four weeks from date. In default, the rate of interest shall stand increased to ten percent per annum as directed by the learned Single Judge.
