1. The writ petitioner is not represented today.

2. However, this writ petition has been filed as a public interest litigation. The petitioner has expressed anguish and concern about the illegal parking in the areas of Burrabazar and Machua. It appears that the representation was made to various authorities including the Commissioner of Police, requesting the authority concerned to address the issue of illegal parking in localities causing severe traffic congestion, hindering the movement of emergency services and posing safety hazards to residents and commuters. It has been alleged that fire fighter is unable to access the spot in urgent basis due to illegal parking in narrow lanes.

3. Although the writ petitioner is not represented, but having regard to the issue raised in the writ petition, we allow prayer (g) in the

writ petition and also direct the authorities concerned to address the grievance of the writ petitioner as mentioned in the representation dated 16th May, 2025 and ensure that the rules and regulations in this regard are being strictly adhered to.

4. Since the writ petitioner is not represented today, learned Advocate for the State is directed to communicate this order to Mr.Sudhakar Thakur, learned Advocate representing the writ petitioner.
