The Court :- Mr. Syamantak Banerjee, learned Advocate for the petitioner, submits that the application for grant of probate was dismissed for non prosecution. Such order of dismissal was challenged in appeal. The Appeal Court set aside the order of dismissal and modified the order directing the petitioner to publish the notice in one English newspaper and in one Bengali newspaper. He informs the Court that such compliance has been made pursuant to the direction passed in the appeal.

The Department is directed to furnish a report in respect of the aforesaid. List this matter on 22nd August, 2024.
