The Court : This appeal by the assessee filed under Section 260A of the Income Tax Act (the 'Act' in brevity) is directed against the order dated 7th September, 2016 passed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, A-Bench, Kolkata (the 'Tribunal') in ITA No.1295/Kol/2011 for the assessment year 2006-07. On the last date of hearing, learned counsel appearing for the appellant submitted that he was no longer appearing for the appellant and we directed that the appellant be intimated that the appeal will be listed today.

Today the appellant has not made any alternative arrangement and none appears for the appellant. Thus, it appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the matter.
