The Court: This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned arbitrator. The learned arbitrator was appointed by this Court. The mandate of the learned arbitrator terminated on 22nd January, 2025. The petitioner has a claim and the respondent has a counter-claim. It appears that the arguments are complete and the matter is at the stage of publishing the award.

Under such circumstances, ends of justice demands that the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended by a further period of four months from the date of communication of this order, to enable the learned arbitrator to make and publish his award.

As no affidavit has been filed, the allegations, if any, against the respondent are deemed to be denied.

AP 90 of 2025 is disposed of accordingly.
