The petitioners have filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration to the estate of the deceased Mina Purkait who died on 14th September, 2023 leaving behind her husband Prabhas Chandra Purkait alias Prabhas Purkait and two daughters, namely, Sushmita Sengupta and Paramita Basu Ray who are the petitioners before this Court. The husband of the deceased also died on 6th January, 2024. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the deceased died intestate and as such, the petitioners being the legal heirs of the deceased have filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration to the estate of the deceased Mina Purkait.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Perused the death certificate of the deceased and the death certificate of the husband of the deceased.

This Court finds that there is no impediment to grant Letters of Administration to the petitioners to the estate of the deceased subject to furnishing bond of Rs.1,50,000/- with one surety. PLA/205/2024 is disposed of.
