Perused the report of the Registrar-in-Charge, Original Side dated 9th February, 2026.

It is indicated in the aforesaid report that the learned Advocate for the defendant signing at the foot of the terms of settlement is a different person altogether as it appears from the records maintained in the register of suit under the Registry.

It has been further proposed by the Department that leave may be granted so that the signature at the foot of the terms of settlement may be corrected as replaced by the signature of the learned Advocate for the defendant as is appearing in the register of suit. Both the learned Advocates for the plaintiff as well as the defendant agree to such proposal.

Accordingly, leave is granted to the learned Advocate on record for the defendant, Dr. Siddhartha Goswami, to put his signature in the terms of settlement dated 27th January, 2025 on behalf of the defendant. (BIVAS PATTANAYAK, J.) A/s.
