The Court: The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the Amherst Street Police Station as information was furnished to the same police station regarding the injuries which were inflicted upon Mukesh Mondal. Since police authorities refused to take any action, the petitioner has approached this Court. According to the petitioner, earlier criminal case was instituted being Girish Park Police Station Case No.42/2025 dated 01.04.2025. State has submitted a report which reflects that in connection with aforesaid case, already charge sheet has been submitted before the Jurisdictional Court under the relevant provisions of law. Be that as it may, since a further set of documents has been handed over by the police authority which reflects that the petitioner's son is being attempted to be communicated but no response being received, I direct that in case the petitioner or his son approaches the police station with relevant

documents, the police authorities will consider the grievance of the petitioner and address the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPO/458/2025 is disposed of. Reports as submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report and General Diary Entry Number be handed to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. (TIRTHANKAR GHOSH, J.) nm
