...for KMC THE COURT: On June 24, 2024, this Court passed the following order:

"The Court: It has been submitted by the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners that the petitioners will furnish an undertaking to vacate the relevant premises within a period of two months from date.

Let such undertaking be filed by 3rd July, 2024. In view of the submission made by the petitioners today, the Corporation shall not proceed with the demolition notice dated 18.06.2024 for a period of ten days from date. List this matter on 3rd July, 2024, under the heading "To Be Mentioned".

Today, it has been submitted by Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate who appeared for the petitioners on June 24, 2024 that the petitioners have taken a "no objection" from the advocate on

record. No undertaking has been filed before this Court in terms of the order dated June 24, 2024.

In that view of the matter, there is no question of extending the interim order granted on June 24, 2024 any further. The Kolkata Municipal Corporation shall be at liberty to proceed with the demolition work without any further delay. There is no need to keep this writ petition pending.
