The Court: The initial interim order was granted on 12th April, 2022. Subsequent to the same, Section 21 notice under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act has been issued by the petitioner to the respondent and the same has been replied to. However, there was no meeting of the minds between the parties with regard to the Arbitrator. The parties submit in Court today that they are willing to have an Arbitrator appointed by the Court to resolve the disputes between the parties.

In light of the same, I appoint Mr. Rishad Medora Advocate, Bar Library Club, [ Mobile No. 9830319654 ] is appointed as Arbitrator. The appointment is subject to submission of declaration by the Arbitrator in terms of Section 12(1) in the form prescribed in the Sixth Schedule of the Act before the Registrar, Original Side of this Court within four weeks from today.

Let this order be conveyed to the Arbitrator by the Registrar, Original Side forthwith.

The subsisting interim order is extended for a further period of six weeks from date or until further orders passed by the learned Arbitral Tribunal. No further orders are required to be passed in the Section 9 application. Accordingly, AP 157 of 2022 is disposed of.
