...for the respondent The Court: The parties are before the Court seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. The matter has a chequered career, inasmuch as one of the previous Arbitrators recused and the other met with his demise. Taking into account the volume of the materials to be considered by the Arbitrator and certain technical aspects which are involved in the matter, this Court is of the opinion that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator ought to be extended by a further period of six months.

Accordingly, AP-COM/673/2024 is allowed, thereby extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator for a further period of six months from May 15, 2024.
