...for the respondent The Court: Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that although the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal would, under normal circumstances, come to an end in the month of January, 2024, at the 28th sitting of the Tribunal held on December 5, 2023, by mutual consent of the parties, the mandate was extended till July 10, 2024. The present application has been filed prior to that. Learned counsel for the respondent does not oppose the prayer for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator.

Considering the stage of the arbitral proceeding, which is at the argument stage, as well as the materials to be considered by the learned Arbitrator, APCOM/684/2024 is allowed, thereby extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator till February 28, 2025.
