The writ petition was filed, inter alia, praying for a direction upon the municipal authorities to take steps against the unauthorised construction carried on at the premises no.138/5A, Narkeldanga Main Road, Kolkata - 700011.

2. Although, the learned advocate representing the petitioner has placed before this Court a communication dated 5th December 2025 to contend that the petitioner is no longer interested to continue with the writ petition, however, since Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate representing the municipal authorities has placed before this Court a report dated 22nd November 2025 filed in terms of the order dated 11th November 2025, to demonstrate that the demolition work in terms of the demolition

order dated 21st June 2025 passed under section 400(8) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 has been executed, let the report dated 22nd November 2025 filed in Court today be taken on record.

3. Accordingly since nothing survives in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of.
