The Court :- The instructions of the Officer-in-Charge, Jorasanko Police Station, addressed to the learned Advocate for the State, dated 10th April, 2022, are kept with the record.

The writ petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondents have forcibly evicted him from his shoproom, and have occupied the same. It is also alleged that the private respondents have trespassed into this property and have damaged the same. The petitioner has also alleged theft of lots of belongings, including huge amounts of cash. The officer in charge of Jorasanko Police Station may investigate the same in accordance with law. The other prayers for restoration of possession made by the petitioner

cannot be entertained by the police or the Writ Court. The remedy of the petitioner is before an appropriate civil or other statutory forum. With the aforesaid observations, WPO No. 1949 of 2022 shall stand disposed of.
