Re: GA/1/2022 The Court :- GA No. 1 of 2022 is an application to amend the cause title to implead the merged entities being erstwhile Allahabad Bank and Andhra Bank into Indian Bank and Union Bank of India. Since the merger had occurred under statutory orders, the applications are allowed. Delay is condoned. Let there be an order in terms of prayers (a) and (b). Formal service of amended writ petition and filing of amended petition are dispensed with.

The Advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall incorporate the amendments in the records of the Court in course of the day.

Re: WPO/967/2021 The writ petitioner challenges an order passed under the Master Circular of the Reserve Bank of India for declaration of the petitioners as willful defaulters. The petitioner has been identified by the identification committee where the petitioner has had an opportunity of representing himself. The order does not attain finality unless approved by the review committee. In that view of the matter, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make an appropriate representation before the review committee within a period of ten days from date. The review committee shall, in accordance with the procedure prescribed under the Master Circular, dispose of the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. GA/1/2022 is treated as on the day's list.
