1. Perused the report and the photographs handed over by the learned advocate representing the Corporation wherefrom it appears that the unauthorized construction of the IV storied illegal building has been demolished excepting two rooms in the ground floors occupied by three distressed elderly women.

2. It appears that the direction passed by this Bench stood modified by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the contemnor would be liable to pay Rs.25,00,000/-(rupees twenty-five lakh only) in terms of the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench to the petitioners.

3. In line with the law laid down by the Larger Bench of this Court in the matter of Sailesh Kumar Vs. Smitha R., IAS and Anr. reported in 2023 SCC OnLine Calcutta 1152 this Bench is not inclined to proceed

with the contempt application any further. The same stands disposed of.

4. It will be open for the petitioners to approach the Hon'ble Division Bench for violation of any direction passed by the said Bench.
