The Court : When the matter is called on for hearing, none appears for the petitioners. Learned Counsel for the respondent points out, as recorded in the order dated December 23, 2020, hat the petitioners had chosen to remain unrepresented on several occasions, despite long pendency of the matter. The respondent also raises an objection regarding maintainability of the writ petition against a private bank. Be that as it may, since the petitioners are not represented today and the matter was fixed as a last chance to the petitioners, the merits of the matter ought not to be gone into.

However, in view of the recurring absence of the petitioners, there is no option but to dismiss the matter for default.

Accordingly, WPO No.537 of 2019 is dismissed for default without any order as to costs.
