Mr. Joyak Kumar Gupta learned Advocate with Mr. Asish Kumar Guha, learned Advocate appears for the State. 4.

The petitioner being a senior Judicial Officer claims his seniority in terms of the prayers made in the writ petition. The petitioner has also submitted his representation before the High Court Administration dated July 18, 2024, Annexure P-22 at page 236 to the writ petition. The representation is yet to be considered. 5.

The petitioner shall be retiring in the last week of November, 2025, as this Court has been informed.

In view of the above, after considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the respondent no. 1 shall place a copy of the writ petition along with a copy of today's order before the Administrative Committee of the Hon'ble High Court so that after considering the prayer made by the petitioner on the basis of the existing records, the said representation of the petitioner dated July 18, 2024 can be disposed of as expeditiously as possible, as the petitioner will be retiring soon.

The decision shall immediately be communicated by the respondent no. 1 to the petitioner.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the writ petition and all points are kept open for decision before the Administrative Committee. The respondent no. 1 shall take steps keeping in mind the date of retirement of the petitioner.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

10. With the above observations and directions, this writ petition WPO/596/2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs. (ANIRUDDHA ROY, J.) Dg/
