For KMC The Court :- Petitioner and the Corporation are represented. Mr. Mitra, learned advocate appears on behalf of the Corporation and submits, the writ petition is without particulars. Mr. Dey, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is tenant in respect of a premises, in which there is unauthorised construction. The Corporation is not taking steps in spite of representation dated 27th September, 2019 having been duly made to it. It appears that said representation gives particulars of the premises, to be 2, Bhola Maira Lane, Kolkata-700004. Complaint therein is that owners have decided to construct on the roof.

The Corporation is directed to deal with this representation and either inform petitioner regarding permission obtained for the construction or if there is

construction without permission, to initiate appropriate proceedings.

The Corporation must inform or initiate proceedings within four weeks of communication of this order. The writ petition is disposed of. Affidavit of service is filed.
